Building relationships that helped transform the delivery of healthcare in one community

Temecula Valley Hospital, Temecula, CA
When this community was in need, UHS responded and built a new hospital.
Recognized as one of the fastest growing communities in the state, Temecula, California was underserved when it came to healthcare. UHS stepped in to help in 2011 and worked closely with community leaders, residents and physicians to bring a new acute care hospital to the community. Recently, Temecula Valley Hospital celebrated its fourth anniversary of delivering advanced, quality healthcare to the patients it is privileged to serve.
When it proposed building a new hospital in the area, UHS wanted to establish a partnership with the community.
Temecula Valley Hospital CEO Darlene Wetton was onsite throughout the construction process and shared updates and information with the community throughout the construction process.
It’s easy to see that patient-centered care is at the core of everything we do at Temecula Valley Hospital. We are honored to be celebrating our fourth anniversary of serving the community!

The spirit of collaboration extended to the medical professionals who would be providing care to patients. Even before the 140-bed, five-story acute care hospital broke ground, the Temecula hospital team met with medical professionals, building designers and the construction team so that patient care needs and building design functionality were closely aligned.
Before the opening, the hospital team invited Temecula residents to an open house.
