Helping UHS Employees in Need
We established the UHS Foundation so that we may quickly respond to employees’ immediate needs. We discovered in the aftermath of 9/11 that the well-intentioned funds raised for the families of the victims were slow to reach people in need. From that experience, we modeled the UHS Foundation. We’re grateful for the opportunities to provide assistance to our fellow employees in their time of need.
To date, the UHS Foundation has disbursed over $3 million to employees needing assistance. The UHS Foundation also provided assistance in the aftermath of Tennessee and Arkansas tornados; and hurricanes Beryl, Debby, Milton and Helene in 2024.
