- Substance Use Disorder (SUD): Many of UHS’ Behavioral Health facilities offer a broad array of treatment services, such as drug and alcohol detox, step-down programs, sober living and aftercare. Among them are those in our Foundations Recovery Network which specializes in the integrated treatment of addiction and underlying mental health disorders.
In 2024, we opened our first Foundations Health location, offering outpatient services for those struggling with SUD, mental health issues and/or opioid dependence, including medication-assisted treatment.

- Autism Spectrum Disorder: Dedicated programs available at select facilities tailor a patient’s treatment and interventions to precisely measure and track progress. Plans integrate behavioral functioning, social development, communication abilities, academic/vocational achievement, family education and support.

Joint Ventures/Provider Partnerships/Alliances
UHS is continually looking to engage in strategic partnerships that will help patients access the right level of care at the right location. This includes a focused effort on partnering with non-UHS Acute Care hospitals to help them operate their behavioral health services. Our recent projects are with these reputable healthcare systems:
