UHS’ IT Department listed on InformationWeek 500 2003

InformationWeek recognized the IT Department of Universal Health Services, Inc. as ranking among the nation’s 500 largest and most innovative IT industry leaders. Recent IT implementation by UHS includes wireless laptops for bedside order entry, billing and collections; on-line approval for time and attendance reporting; direct downloading of patient data to physician office systems; increased legibility of patient identification information; and a new pharmacy ordering and tracking system.
