Alan B. Miller Receives Patriot Award from Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR)

Alan B. Miller, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Universal Health Services, Inc, received the Patriot Award on September 13, 2010 from Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense. ESGR presents the award to employers in the United States who strongly support their National Guard and Reserve personnel. All members of the National Guard and Reserve forces are eligible to nominate their employers for the Patriot Award. Mr. Miller was nominated by U.S. Navy Commander Milan Moncilovich, UHS Corporate Manager of Medication Safety/Regulatory Compliance, who presented him with the award and a commemorative Patriot lapel pin.
