1999 Lifetime Achievement Award to Alan B. Miller Presented By The Federation Of American Health Systems

Representing nearly 1700 owned and managed hospitals and health systems, the Federation of American Health Systems honored Alan B. Miller, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Universal Health Services, Inc., at the Federation’s Annual Conference. Mr. Miller was recognized by Federation officers for 30 years of service to the nation’s healthcare delivery system, his personal commitment to each of his company’s hospitals to insure the health of their communities and his “capacity to think globally” for the good of the entire healthcare industry.
