Universal Health Services, Inc. Ranks on Forbes Global 2000 List
23rd Annual Global Ranking of World’s Largest Companies
King of Prussia, PA (July 10, 2025) – Forbes released its 23rd annual edition of the Global 2000, which has ranked the largest companies in the world using four metrics: sales, profits, assets and market value.
Collectively, the companies on the 2025 Global 2000 account for $51.7 trillion in revenue, $4.5 trillion in profit, $238 trillion in assets and $88 trillion in market value. There are 61 countries represented on the 2023 list, led by the United States with 621 companies, China and Hong Kong with 324, Japan with 181, India with 71 and the United Kingdom with 66.
Universal Health Services, Inc. (NYSE: UHS), one of the largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, is pleased to announce it is ranked at #1,090. Of the American companies on the ranking, UHS ranked #355 among U.S. companies and #23 among global Health Care Equipment and Services category. UHS has been on the ranking for 22 years, and in 2023 earned ‘Hall of Fame’ status.
