King of Prussia, PA (June 11, 2026) — Universal Health Services, Inc. (NYSE: UHS), one of the largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services, was named to the Wall Street Journal’s inaugural list of the Best Companies for the Future.

The Best Companies for the Future ranking, created by Bendable Labs for the WSJ Leadership Institute, evaluates how large corporations stack up in six areas: AI readiness, innovation, talent readiness, financial fitness, resilience and agility. To be ranked, a company had to be part of the S&P 500 stock index as of December 31, 2025.

“This distinction reflects the dedication of our UHS employees and clinicians who work every day to advance our mission of providing high-quality healthcare services for patients and communities,” said Marc D. Miller, President and CEO of UHS. “As the healthcare landscape continues to evolve, we remain focused on investing in our people, embracing innovation and technology, and building a resilient organization that is positioned to meet the needs of the future while delivering value for patients, employees, physicians, communities and shareholders.”
