December 2022 — Transgender and gender diverse (TGD) populations are rapidly growing in the United States in the past decades. This one hour continuing education program will focus on the commonality, especially SDoH (Social Determinant of Health), at which TGD experience co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder, and specifically how we at Pride Institute take a client centered, transgender specific approach to comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder evaluation and treatment.
