Serving Those Who Serve

We are proud to support the men and women of the military, who sacrifice every day to make our country a better place.

UHS has a special relationship with veterans and a long-standing commitment to serving the behavioral health care needs of the military and their families. In the video below, Matt Peterson, President of the Behavioral Health Division of UHS, shares his thoughts on our Patriot Support Program and the company's commitment to veterans.

A Special Relationship with Veterans

All our acute care hospitals support their local military communities. That includes Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale, Calif., which has approximately 30,000 veterans living in its service area, as well as active duty service members and their families. The hospital is proud to offer quality healthcare services to its local heroes and their loved ones.

To well-known community member Kevin Sanders, Veteran, US Marine Corps, the hospital’s effort to serve the military community has not gone unnoticed.

“Palmdale Regional is a true partner in the community and that gets a lot of my respect. I’m always impressed by the hospital’s involvement.” – Veteran Kevin Sanders
