March 8, 2021 — The healthcare conglomerate that owns Wellington Regional Medical Center is vying to become northern Palm Beach County’s newest hospital-care provider, submitting plans for a facility that potentially could be larger than the Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens medical centers. Universal Health Services is seeking to build a 32.3-acre medical campus in the Alton planned community district, off Donald Ross Road in Palm Beach Gardens just south of the Jupiter border.

February 1, 2021 — Universal Health Services wants to build a hospital and medical office building in the Alton community in Palm Beach Gardens. The hospital company (NYSE: UHS) has 32.3 acres at Pasteur Boulevard and Donald Ross Road under contract from an affiliate of Kolter Group. It aims to build a 270-bed hospital in a seven-story building totaling 365,000 square feet, a four-story medical office building totaling 80,000 square feet, 1,019 parking spaces, and a helipad.
